Sophia is 4 weeks old...

That's right, Sophie is one month old as of Wednesday. I'm loving being home with her, and we are taking lots of pictures. So here are some of my favorites from this week.

Sophie at Home...

Sophie is 3 weeks old today and we are so in love with her.

 We are getting used to less sleep and making it up whenever we can.

She loves all her toys.

This is Sophie doing some stretches.

We think she's pretty cute!

The Birth...

Sophia Joan was born on May 30th, 2012, but her birth started on May 28th (Memorial Day) at 4:30 in the morning.  Yes, that's right my water broke at 4:30am, and by 5:00am we were on our way to the hospital. After being checked (the doctor verified that my water did break) I was dilated to a 1, so I was admitted and moved to labor and delivery. I was induced and after 44 hours I had dilated to a 6 or 7. So it was off to the operating room for a c-section.  Sophie was born at 12:34am.

Bryan was in the operating room for the delivery then I had him go with Sophie to the new born nursery, and Heather came into the operating room while I was stitched up.

This is Sophie's first picture that Bryan took so he could show her to me before he could bring her over.

We both did great.

Sophie was 7lbs 8oz, 20 inches.

We love her so much.

Bryan, Sophie and I were so happy to go home.
