Baby Shower...

This weekend our families threw us a fantastic baby shower!

Bryan even got an instruction manual.

How to have a baby...

On Saturday, Bryan and I went to an all day birth class at the University of Utah Hospital. 

 We packed up our pillows and snacks and were on our way.  The class was very helpful and only scared us a little. We got to go on a tour of the hospital and the birthing rooms and they were really, really nice. We are so excited to be have our little Sophie at the U and we know we are in good hands.

 Just a little over 9 weeks left!

getting the nursery ready...

Bryan has been working so hard on the nursery.

 He's installed all new crown molding and door casings.

 He's doing such a great job and I love how it's coming together.

I can't wait to get it decorated,

 and I really can't wait to put all of Sophie's stuff in her room.

 We had another ultra sound and she's developing right on track.

We love her so much already!!!

Big Week...

 Monday was Bryan's 30th Birthday!  He didn't want to do anything too big and crazy so we had our families over for cake and ice cream.

He loves, loves, loves ice cream so I made him an ice cream bar, with all the toppings he could possibly want.

Friday we had another ultrasound and we are having a girl! The pictures weren't that great this time, but we love going and seeing our little baby so active and moving around.

There she is sucking her thumb.

and her face.

I'm 20 weeks now, and so happy to be half way there!  We are getting so excited to meet our little girl.
