To The Coast...

For our anniversary, Bryan and I went on a road trip to Oregon and California. We left late Wednesday night and drove until we couldn't drive anymore. After a 3 hour nap at a truck stop, we made it to Oregon to see the sun come up.

This is seconds before it started to snow.

We got to Newport on the coast, and loved the town. Driving down the Oregon coast was so beautiful, and so much fun.

We had a great time exploring the little towns all long the coast. One of my favorites is Florence, which is where we stop for lunch and a little shopping.

It's New Again...

 I started with my old cute Ikea table that I've had for a long time...

I painted it yellow.

I wanted to have it as an outdoor table.
I think it turned out way cute.

Our New TV Room...

When we moved into our house, all the rooms were one very nice oatmeal color. It really is a nice color, but we didn't want the whole house to be the same. Since we hadn't really been using the downstairs, we decided to start there and make it our Movie room.

I wanted a bright color and Bryan wanted a more neutral color, so we went with both.

We put up crown moulding, new door moulding and added moulding around the window and back door. We put tile by the back door, had new carpet installed, and added a big comfy chair and couch.

And this is what it looks like now...

Ta-da!
