Oh Baby!!!

So I know it's been a long time, but we wanted to go to the doctor before we posted anything. We're PREGNANT!  I'm two and half months along.  We saw the doctor on Friday and everything is great so far. We even got to hear the baby's heartbeat.

We are so excited.

Latest remodel...

Just off the new TV room is the laundry/ bathroom, and since we finished the TV room we figure it should be next. If you didn't look too closely, it wasn't that bad.  But if you did, you could see that the paint job wasn't very good, the sink cabinet wasn't being held together by much and you couldn't really get your hands under the faucet.

We painted it the same blue as the TV room, put new molding around the doors and added molding around the window. We got a new cabinet and counter top for the sink and added a cabinet over the washer and dryer.

24th of July Weekend...

Saturday Heather and I went to a bridal shower for my cousin Sam.  Her mother-in-law-to-be (Jann) threw it for her and she did an amazing job. Everything was so cute and she had the best craft for all of us to do.  All the glass stands turned out great.

Sunday was the 4th annual Pioneer Day party. Where we celebrate all things Utah. We had so much fun.

We even had a "Snowmageddon" photo booth in honor of the giant snow storms that were forecast but never arrived.

In The Garden...

A couple of weeks a go, Bryan and I went to Red Butte Garden. It was beautiful and so great to walk around. And like always, we loved taking pictures.

First Anniversary...

May your lives be blessed and may love always find a dwelling place in your hearts.

Love is present here and love is what makes life more significant and certainly more interesting.  Love is not just a feeling – Love is a way of life and a way of living.  Love is not just about finding the right person but about being the right person. It is knowing, without a doubt, there is one whose hopes and dreams are just as important as your own. Love is giving permission for another human being to enhance your life, who you are and who you will become.  Something wonderful happens when you make the commitment to join your hearts and souls for a lifetime. ~Rev. Sue (June 12, 2010)

Sunday is our first wedding anniversary, and it has been an amazing first year.

Beach Debris...

These are pictures that I took at or by the beach.
All my mom wanted from the coast was some beach debris.
So in honor of her that is what I'm calling this series of pictures.
Hope you like them.

...And Back Home.

Part 2 of our trip, we drove into California to see the Redwoods. It was all on highway 101, so we had beautiful views the whole time.

The Redwoods were amazing.  It was raining (okay it was a down pour), but it just made everything so green and beautiful.

It's amazing to look up and see how tall the trees are.

When we were planning the trip we were going to camp at Crater Lake on our way home, but the camp sites were closed so we stayed in a hotel in Klamath Falls.

It was obvious why the camp sites were closed, and we were not expecting this much snow.

We loved Crater Lake and can't wait to go back when there is a little less snow and more roads open around the lake.

The drive home was really beautiful.

It was a lot of fun and a great way to celebrate our anniversary.
Now where to go next year?
